MoimMarine Surveyors · Korea & Japan
Who we act for

The same ship, four different reports

A surveyor works for whoever instructed him. What changes between these four is not the inspection — it is what the report has to prove, and who will read it afterwards.

Buyers & owners

You are about to own the problem

  • What the ship will cost you after delivery, not what it looks like at the gangway
  • Whether the class record and the steel actually agree
  • Something you can put in front of a seller to move the price

We provide: Pre-purchase surveys, classification history checks, sale docking supervision.

P&I clubs & insurers

You are being asked to carry it

  • Entry condition established before the risk attaches
  • Recommendations graded and time-bound, with follow-up attendance
  • Marine operations approved before they proceed, not reviewed after

We provide: P&I condition surveys, warranty surveys, towage approvals.

Banks & lessors

You need to know the asset is still there

  • Consistent periodic attendance across a fleet, not one-off opinions
  • A format that makes deterioration visible year on year
  • Scheduling around the ship's trading, not the other way round

We provide: Bank asset monitoring, portfolio inspection programmes, pre-delivery and redelivery attendance.

Charterers & operators

You need the condition fixed and the ship moving

  • On-hire and off-hire condition and bunkers recorded before the argument starts
  • Holds surveyed to the standard the next cargo requires
  • A port captain on the berth, and someone pushing the call to finish

We provide: On/off-hire and bunker surveys, draft surveys, port captaincy, marine expeditor services.

Instruct us as principal, or through your broker

We take instructions directly from owners, clubs, banks and charterers, and equally from the brokers, lawyers and technical managers acting for them.
